Jani Puttonen participated in the European Space Agency’s (ESA) International Workshop on Tracking, Telemetry and Command Systems for Space Applications (TTC 2016). It was held in the premises of the European Space Research and Technology Centre (ESTEC) in Noordwijk, The Netherlands, on 13.9. – 16.9.2016.
He presented the article “Robust TM System for Future Launchers”, focusing on presenting a system level simulator for a launch vehicle telemetry communication system and performance analysis of proposed performance enhancements to increase the capacity of a telemetry link without sacrificing the reliability.
The article is a joint effort by Magister Solutions, VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland, Space Engineering (Airbus Defence and Space), ELV and the Queens University of Belfast.
